Marrying the island

a performance I did during #In:ACT 2022, reflecting my thoughts of marriage as well my relationship with the island I had lived for

one year yet known it for 4 years since I started my photography project of nudist colony at Bãi Giữa.

my friends, especially queer friends had been excited and waiting for my queer wedding for a while. They came to support, make up as well as prepare a lot for my performance.

Thảo Linh from Babau-Air, even managed to issue my a marriage certìicate of me and the island. This is her performance at Documenta 15, in Kassel. all of these photos taken by Kanh/Kiều Anh, my favorite witty artist.
