AQM's from 01.03.2025-01.03.2026

it has been a very busy and exciting year with all of us. Please look at the full list of what we have been doing:

There are more people. The Ecosystem of AQM has been very big with many choosing to stay invisible, and many names will be mentioned in our yearbook.

we also have more materials, projects and human and non-human residents; since the last six months, from one non-human living creature at AQM (Cua, the tomcat, our boss) to 6 cats and a dog. The care practice has been running much deeper. Let's read a writing of one AQM's living creature: "Occasionally-permanent guests orbiting this thousand-star hotel are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, White coffee, Crab and Momo; beside them were Wednesday, Saturday, Mother Owl who gave birth to the godless calendar, Cua’s pissing opponent - the unnamed alley guard, all of them will be remembered by Nhung and close friends of the space. All beings here somehow always seem connected, not only the kindred spirits of the misfits, but also the genealogically intertwined life of the nonhuman species. A tale as old as time, once there was a helpless Lâm (Nhung’s close friend) who couldn’t neuter the young and unstoppable Panther before he inseminated his own mother Ngáo, then came Cua (Crab) - the fruit of a confusing family tree, destined to suffer in solitude until Owl, the Calendar army along with Momo the guard came and stole his comfort, space then eventually his heart.

Momo is the odd one among an army of cats, he is a warm, friendly, white and racially ambiguous dog, he’s softly trained to dump solids exactly at the nearest police ward, he’s young and wild, ready to mingle and if things go well, he hopes he could move to your lap.

Along with Momo, Nhung carried the cat army on a car from her hometown back to AQM, and as far as cats go, some spread out and some stayed. Wednesday and Saturday were soon rehomed to our beloved drag house—Yassper’s home; Owl decided to go out for milk as the responsibilities of a mom did not outweigh the thirst for freedom, and we all hope she landed in the good hands of Hà Nội inhabitants. 

The kittens are distinctive both in appearance and personality, Tuesday is the only female cat in the batch and also the one who inherits most of Owl’s traits. She’s soft and slower than the brothers but no less mischievous. Even when it’s a godless calendar, Monday is the darkest, most devilish, quickest one, he is rarely seen alone but rather constantly bickering with others or scheming something with Thursday - the cow pattern one who’s the thuggest, most likely to be a gangster leader and the hungriest, greediest of them all. Friday and White coffee are both bicolored, not quite white, not quite orange, they’re slow burns, as soon as they catch up, even Cua - the oldest and grumpiest resident here, has to back off.

Started off as low energy and sad looking long haired one, White coffee grew to fit in and started interacting and even teases Cua, occasionally participates in nibble heist with his younger siblings and definitely not guilty free when it comes to hijacking Cua’s food as Cua is only growing slower and more helpless as he grew attached to the kittens and the intimidation weaned off.

Together 6 cats and a dog reside on the fourth floor of AQM, free from handsy humans and free to be felines, no single thought nor concern about who Epstein or Trump is, as they should. 

As far as they care, food comes at sunrise and dawn, and they have each other to bite and bicker with"// ch/tréo mò In the beginning of the lunar new year, 2026, the year of the horse, our designer created this for all of us.
